Maaike Johanna Maria:
Known to all as Oma, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2016 aged 99. The family of Oma extend heartfelt thanks to all those who came and shared their love for Oma; to all who sent flowers and other messages of love and condolence; to all those who supported the family since she passed away, providing and preparing meals, providing accommodation and to all those who organized and participated in the arrangements prior to and throughout the funeral.

We would especially like to thank Dr Douglas, Whanganui District Health Board, Hospice Whanganui, Age Concern and Healthcare Services for their care and consideration for Oma over the past few years as age caught up with her and placed limitations on what she could do.

Thanks also to Dempsey and Forrest who handled Oma's funeral arrangement with the dignity and grace she deserved.

Oma's family, and it is a big one, thanks you one and all for the love, support and understanding shown and the helping hands that did so much during this time. God bless you all.

'Kaore e kore, ma te aroha ka tuhonotia te rangi me te whenua.' There is no doubt that love will unite heaven and earth. Tena ra koutou katoa. Thank you.
