Louwe POMSTRA Obituary

Passed away peacefully at Carter Court, Carterton on 25th July 2025. Aged 96. Born 11th May 1929 in Eelde, The Netherlands. Much loved husband of the late Phil (they were married for 69 years). Much loved father and father-in-law of Alison and Stan, Margyn (deceased) and Nick, Graham and Jane, and Richard and Rachel. Dearly loved and loving Opa and Great-Opa of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A special thanks to all at Carterton Medical Centre, the staff of Wairarapa and Wellington Hospitals and those at Carter Court for their care of Louwe. A celebration of Louwe's life will be held in the Richmond Chapel, 10 Richmond Road, Carterton on Friday 1st August 2025 at 2.00pm.
