Linda JONES Obituary

Tragically taken from us on Friday 31 October 2025, aged 76. Loved Mum of Scott (Jonah) and Sally, Meryck and Nat, Nana/Narnie to Jack, Charlie, Hannah, Spencer, Emily and Darci. Sister of Ethel and Frank (dec), Glenda and Alan, and Kathleen, loved Aunty, Cousin and friend of so many. A Service for Linda will be held at Alexandra House Chapel, 570 Alexandra St, Te Awamutu on Friday, 7th November at 1.00pm, followed by private cremation. The service will be livestreamed please email [email protected] for the link.

Linda and I worked together some years ago and recently reconnected at yoga classes. It was so lovely catching up over a coffee after yoga and I looked forward to doing so again. So very sad to have lost such a lovely warm caring person. All my sympathies to Linda´s family.

Linda was truly inspiring and taught me so much during our time together at IR. I considered her my mentor and a very special friend - always there to help, offer advice, and share her wisdom. I have great memories of our time working together in Wellington.

Meryck, Scott, and family, please accept my deepest condolences. Linda was a fantastic lady - the best.

I got to catch up with Linda after many years , At Glenda and Alan´s 60th anniversary.It was lovely to see her and share her memories of her family and seeing photos of her holiday in Fiji , I am so sorry for your loss love and hugs Linda Fuller
