Joyce Shaw Obituary

Age 92, of Oshawa, Ontario passed away peacefully at home on Monday, October 31, 2022. Dearly beloved wife of the Late David Shaw of 61 years. Loving Mother to Bill (Karen), Charles (Jackie) and Robert (Sara). Loving momma to Christina (Chad), Laura and Sara. Loving grandma to Lucas and Cooper. Beloved sister to brother Bustin (predeceased) and Margaret (predeceased). She will be remembered and missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. Joyce was an excellent artist, specializing in painting and drawing. She dabbled in interior decorating and was an avid collector of collectible plates. She loved travelling the world and walking her dog, Bernie, down by the lake in Oshawa with her husband by her side. Joyce's love for the royal family never went unnoticed. Her birthday was the same as the late Queen Elizabeth II. Known for her tender heart, gracious charm and strength, her love for her family and grandchildren was felt by everyone around her. She was a wonderful mother and friend to her three sons. Joyce will be remembered for her sense of humour, good nature and she was a friend to all. The family appreciates all of your prayers and kind gestures during this difficult time. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
