It was both a great privilege and honour to have met you, Les. For those of you who don´t know me, I am Roger Cooper´s partner and in the more present years we got to spend some wonderful times, over a nice cup of tea with Les & Gaye. Les is Uncle to Roger and was also someone Roger looked up to in his childhood. When visiting Les & Gaye you could just see the love, they have for one another. The twinkle in both of their eyes. Your children were very lucky to have you both, still together after all these wonderful and probably sometimes trying years, bringing up a family.
Although no words can take away the sorrow that you bare. May it bring comfort to you that we care for you all, deeply. Please take care of one another.
All my love, Debbie xx

I would just like to offer my sincere condolences to Les' whanau. Sorry I cannot be there in person tomorrow to farewell Les the awesome guy. I learnt so many tricks of the trade from Les during his time at Te Wananga o Aotearoa. May you take solace in knowing Les is without pain and all his illness has been taken away.
