Leonard SCHERER Obituary
Leonard Philip (Len):
Passed away peacefully in Tauranga, on Sunday 4th July 2021; aged 90 years. Soulmate, best friend, fellow adventurer and loved husband of Tilly (Agnes). Loved and respected Dad of Phil, Tim, Benn and Scott, father-in-law of Tracey, Robyn, Sharlene and Wendy; also a much loved granddad and great-granddad.
'Home is the sailor,
home from the sea,
And the hunter
home from the hill".
A service for Len will be held at the Whangamata Ocean Sports Club, Port Road, Whangamata, on Saturday 10th July at 3.00pm, followed by interment at The Whangamata Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Whangamata Ambulance Service would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Messages to: PO Box 77, Whangamata 3643.

So many precious childhood memories of the fun holidays with Uncle Len. I'll never forget the adventures we shared.
