Passed peacefully at Thames Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer. Cherished husband, best friend and business partner for 59 years to Anne. Dearly loved Dad of Leanne and Peter McGregor (Morrinsville), and Tim and Ingred Donovan (Hahei). Loved Granddad of Nathan and Stephanie McGregor, Shane and Katey Donovan. Dear friend of Jess McMillan, Taylor Hopkins and Jordan Smith. Dear brother of John and Dave. Great-Granddad of Dixie Laurie McGregor. A private family gathering will be held on Saturday 24th September, at 11.00am. Live streaming details are available upon request from the family. A public celebration of Laurie's life will be held at Hahei Community Hall, 52 Hahei Beach Road, on Saturday 15th October, at 11.00am. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Cancer Society would be appreciated. All communications to 279 Link Road, RD 1, Whitianga, or email [email protected].
