Kim DAVEY Obituary

Passed away at Waikato Hospital on Saturday 20 April 2024, after a brave year long battle with cancer. Dearly loved wife and soulmate of Steve, adored mother and mother-in-law of Aidan, Jarrod, Tarryn, Nat, and Jonty and much loved 'Kimmy G' to Ella. Loved daughter of Rob and Conn and sister to Haydn, Graydon and Carey. Also known as the crazy aunty to many nieces and nephews and much loved by our large extended family. A memorial service and celebration of Kim's life will be held at the Silver Fern Farms Event Centre, 44 Stanley Ave, Te Aroha on Saturday 27 April at 11.00am. Our deepest sympathies we were deeply saddened to learn of Kim´s passing. Will always cherish our memories of her smile laughter and genuine kindness. Her vast knowledge of hockey the game she loved. And passed her passion on to many Te Aroha hockey player our son being one was infectious. And the joy Kim had in her children´s achievements. Thank you for sharing this amazing women with us.
