Kerry MCKINLEY Obituary

McKINLEY, Kerry Allan:
On Tuesday, 21 April 2015,
"I passed my use by date and handed in my knife and fork. With deepest love and thanks to my devoted, loyal wife and friend, Lynley. Your unselfish dedication to me and our family has been inspirational. To my three sons, David, Michael and Dallas and your partners, Farah and Kiri. You have all had to face some big challenges through life. I am very proud of you all because you rose to meet those difficult times and emerged as victors. To my lovely grandies, Poppa loves you all dearly. Let that same love grow in your own hearts and be spread and shared with everyone in your lives. To my extended family and friends, thanks for sharing in my journey. I have had great times with you all. I am off now on my greatest adventure of all. Hey, St Peter, put the jug on and please don't put too much jam and cream on the pikelets".
Also an awesome brother, brother-in-law and uncle. A celebration of Kerry's life will be held at the Matamata Race Course, Hinuera Road, Matamata on Tuesday, 28 April at 11.00am. Special thanks from the family to Dr's Greg Dunn and Dominique Hite and all those who cared for Kerry over the last few months. In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome for Matamata Volunteer Fire Brigade and may be left at the service or posted to 9 Peria Road, Matamata 3400. You gave sooo much Kerry!!!! A special Irish penny, from you to me. Still holds pride of place. It really shone the other day. The sun making it glisten, like your aura. You supported sooo many people in your time here, in various different ways. You have a gift - this will always be remembered by those you met. You have reached the end of your rainbow, however a rainbow always appears after rain. Keep catching the fish in your new residence, however do leave some for the rest of us when it is our time!!! Many thanks for being a listening ear, supporting soo many people when they needed it, including myself. Heaps of love to your family. :):):):):):):)
