Born 4th March 1930, Elphin, Scotland. Ex British Military Police, Number W2019319, 1948 – 1950. New Zealand Police, QID: A87, 1952 – 1985. Devoted husband to Julie, loved father of William (dec), Christine, Cathie, Neil, Ian, Kenneth, Gregory,
Angus (dec) and Katriona and their partners. Dearly loved grandfather to 35, great-grandfather to 73 and great-great-grandfather of 11. Farewell our beloved Highlander. Fortitudine. Service to be held on Tuesday 8th November at The Waitomo Club, Te Kuiti
at 11.00am, followed by refreshments, burial to follow at Pirongia Council Cemetery.

Ken was an incredible gentleman. His soft spoken manner would put you at ease during conversations and his devotion to family earned great respect from all who knew him. You could tell his children adored him and he loved Julie deeply. He was an honourable man and has a special place in our hearts. So sorry for your loss.
