Kelvin PICK Obituary
On Friday 27 November 2015; aged 73 years, peacefully at home surrounded by family. Dearly loved husband of Jillian; much loved father and father-in-law of Fionna, Rebecca & Tim and Natalie. Treasured and respected granddad of Alexandra, Samuel, Aaron, Cameron, Emily and Shana. Loved and respected stepfather of Jason and Samantha. "A purposeful life well lived; now at peace with the Lord". A celebration of Kelvin's life will be held on Thursday, 3 December 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hamilton Central Baptist Church, 33 Charlemont Street, Hamilton. In memory of Kelvin, donations to Hospice Waikato would be appreciated and can be left at the service. All communications please to the Pick Family, PO Box 844, Cambridge.

Kelvin (Shorty) Pick was, and is, a long time friend. He was groomsman at our wedding 47 years ago, boatbuilding buddy, and fellow dreamer. He was/is a man of vision and generosity, a great sense of humour and a man of faith in Jesus. Heavens gain is our loss. Our love and thoughts go to Jillian, Fionna, Rebecca, Natalie and their families - to his brothers, sisters and extended family.

Kelvin played the organ at Rukuhia church when I went to Sunday school '69/70s. He gave me my first job in Sunfruit orchard.
I'll always remember his kind heart and good nature.
