Claire Lewis Obituary

Claire T. (Noll) Lewis, 86, of Camp Hill, passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at Penn State Holy Spirit Medical Center. Born in Harrisburg on November 24, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Agnes (Kindra) Noll. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Christina (Lewis) Pucci.
Claire graduated from Bishop McDevitt High School with the Class of 1959. She worked as a secretary for AMP, Inc. for 15 years; then as an Educational Paraprofessional with the Capital Area Intermediate Unit for 25 years. She then ran her own business constructing and selling jointed bears and baskets for another 12 years.
Claire was a member of St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church. She was also a member of the West Shore YMCA and the Red Eye Yacht Club in Essex, MD.
Claire loved to go boating on the Chesapeake Bay and participate in the Red Eye Yacht Club with her husband and friends. She also loved to work with her husband and children on their farm in Lancaster County. In her spare time, she also enjoyed antiquing and planting flowers.
Claire is survived by her loving husband James P. Lewis; her children John Lewis of Dauphin, PA, and Letizia Lucia of Santa Fe, NM; her grandchildren Kyle and Chiara Pucci, and Dorian and James Lewis; and her great-granddaughter Gianna Pucci.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 1, 2025 in St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church, 1300 Bridge Street, New Cumberland, PA 17070 with Rev. Jonathan P. Sawicki, her Pastor, celebrating. Burial is private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the charity of one's choice.
Arrangements are entrusted to Wiedeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc.
