I remember once when Opi, myself and you were visiting aunty Sarah at her old house in Hamilton and her neighbor thought you were my mum I still remember how you laughed and told her "thats my grandkid"
Oh how I miss you and I´m so sad to hear about your passing, I was only your whangai grandkid but you treated me like your own, I love you and I´ll never forget you or the things you did for me

So sorry to hear of Karen's passing, my condolences to all the family. I have fond memories of teaching Karen at Waitoa School back in mid 70's. She was a pleasure to teach, a friend to many and one of the best in all she did.

Last week I contacted Waahi Whanui to pass a message on to you and Jimmy as I felt you in my heart.
Life takes us on many journies far and wide but with you my dearest I knew whenever we connected it was like yesterday. I wish life hadnt gotten the way and I had reached out earlier.
How I love our memories although they may few always precious and will rest gently with me forever. You now know so much more of the wonderings of life my lovely very special heart friend. It feels lonlier now that I can never catch up again. Rest gently my " Ebony and Ivory Friend"
I bless you always. Big hearthugs.. The other Karen.xxxx

Much love to you Jim and family. Karen, we looked familiar to each other when we met last year. Recently Polly clicked we were neighbors 20+ years ago and didn't remember.
My household referred to you as lovely neighbor! We missed you when you moved.
If only we got to know our neighbors better!
You touched us when we met you and Jim in December. You will be a lasting memory in our workplace.
Fly free now x
