DRUMMOND, Karen 'Sonja'
(nee Whittaker):
Passed away peacefully at Waikato Hospital, on Tuesday 18th January 2022 with family by her side. Aged 73 years. Loved daughter of Jim and Gwen Whittaker (dec). Loved wife of Allen for 53 years. Cherished mum of Scott. Thank you to Audrey for the loving care of Sonja over the last 8 years.
Always in our hearts
A celebration of Sonja's life will be held at Woolertons Funeral Home Chapel, 8 Railside Place, Dinsdale, Hamilton, on Saturday 22nd January 2022, at 11.00am. A vaccine pass is required to attend. All correspondence to the Drummond family, C/- PO Box 276, Hamilton 3240.

Be brave and strong you will need it for the coming months.My dad Ron passed away 6 months ago so i know how it feels.Sonja was a lovely lady always a friendly chat and a laugh to be had back in the Foodtown days that to me dont seem that long ago but they are.Love from myself and mum Heather.Take care Al and Scott and stay close together and you will get by.
