Karen ATTWOOD Obituary

ATTWOOD, Karen Elizabeth:
After a courageous battle with cancer, Karen passed away peacefully on 19th April 2023, aged 65 years young. Cherished wife of Dennis, loving mother and mother-in-law of Richard and Sarah, Amy and Scott and Cherie. A proud Grandmother to Ethan, Amelia, Jaxon, Mack, Jazpah, Hadley and Jayce. A celebration of Karen's life will be held on Monday 24th April at 1.00pm, at Knox Presbyterian Church, Canada Street, Morrinsville, followed by a burial at the Paiko Lawn Cemetery, Seales Road, Morrinsville. Karen requested that you wear colour as it is a celebration of life. Dennis and family would like to acknowledge the wonderful staff at Hospice Waikato, and in lieu of flowers, a donation to Hospice Waikato would be appreciated.

Dennis and family please accept our very sincere sympathy for your loss of Karen.
We are so grateful for the many years of our friendship. We carry many precious memories and won´t forget Karen´s infectious laugh, her great sense of humour and more importantly the investment she has made into the lives of so many others, both within her community and beyond.
Contrary to what we would have liked, Karen our friend has taken an earlier flight, but we Praise the Lord we have a common destination.
We´ll done, good and faithful servant.
Old friends, Peter and Sue

Dennis and your immediate whanau- my previous entry was a cousins response. Karen was a huge influencer in life and that you will all know and appreciate. She was colourful, bright and engaging and she loved her family.
My sincerest condolences to the Attwood whanau.
Karen would have died knowing and believing she had whanau waiting for on the other side. She has truly earned her place in heaven and is now at peace.
Aroha to you all xxxx Bron Andersen

From the Moore family, ex Kiwitahi. Thanks for the memories of Kiwitahi School, Every Girls Rally, netball, camping, youth group. You were a good friend and always kind, happy, hard working, and generous. I also valued our time as colleagues at Morrinsville Intermediate, and enjoyed spending time again with you and other Morrinsville friends over the last few years. You'll be missed.
