van der HEYDEN, Karel. - On 13th September 2013 at Waikato Hospital. Aged 86 years. Loved husband of the late Maureen and father and father-in-law of Wilma and Grant Robinson (Te Aroha), Johanna and the late Steve Sullivan (Morrinsville), Karen and Bruce Griffin (Te Awamutu), Karl and Kay (Aust) and Mike and Heather (Waimate). Cherished Poppa to 20 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

"Never more than a thought apart, as long as there's a memory". R.I.P.
- Requiem Mass will be held at St Joseph's Catholic Church, Corner Burgess and Whitaker Streets, Te Aroha, tomorrow Wednesday 18th September at 1.00pm, followed by interment in the Te Aroha Cemetery. Karel's family sincerely thank Doctors and Nursing staff and Diane in Morrinsville for all their very special care of our Dad. Communications c/- 10 Lear Street, Morrinsville, 3300. van der HEYDEN, Karel. — Passed away on 13th September, 2013, at Waikato Hospital’s Rehabilitation Centre. Devoted and cherished father / father-in-law to Wilma and Grant Robinson. Poppa to Keith and Jeanne, Michael and Rebecca, Abbie and Shannon, Laura and Brook, Maree and Kane. Old Poppa to Hayley, Renee, Therese and Jack. "You’ve done the hard yards Dad, you taught us well…now it’s time to rest." RIP.
