To Bruce and family, and Te Ata staff,
I was shocked and saddened to hear Joy had passed away. I used to visit Te Ata in my role as CMHN over 12 years ago. She was always busy organising care for people. I remember her with a phone in her hand and a cigarette in the other multi-tasking as only Joy could! She helped many elderly people stay in their own homes and provided excellent care. She could move mountains!! Always very hospitable, I wish I had visited her more recently. I can imagine her in heaven organising everyone!!! Thinking of you all. God bless, Robyn

Geoff and I were saddened to hear that Bruce, family and her many friends and patients had finally lost Joy. She was a major part of our young married lives when as a schoolgirl, with her lifelong friends Faye Stevens and Heather Rodley helped us in our business. Full of fun and mischief then she grew into a caring compassionate and much loved person. Aroha Nui.
