Joseph LAKOMY Obituary

Aged 92 years. After a significant heart attack on Wednesday 14 August, Joe passed away peacefully on Thursday 15 August surrounded by family and under the caring watch of the special staff at Moana Rest Home, Whangamata. Joe was a much loved husband to Deseree (deceased), devoted father to Patricia, Rosalind, Gregory and Tania. Adored grandfather to Ilona, Rowan, Kadin, Ryland and Brittany, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather to many loved ones.
Joe will be missed by all.

That is very sad. I drive past their family home each day. It has changed since the family were there. We lived at no. 7 Awatere Ave and Patricia was my friend. I met Greg in later life too. One thing I will never forget is Desiree always had the plasters stocked up in the first Aid cabinet by the laundry. Us kids had lots of outdoor play so we thought plasters made "it all better" . Such a lovely family. My sincerest condolences to Patricia and Greg and and siblings, Joes grandchildren and families. Regards Janice ex Hall from number 7
