Passed away peacefully at Linda Jones Retirement Village, on Monday 22nd December 2025, aged 86 years. Dearly loved husband of Merle. Loved father & father-in-law of Sheree and Stephen, Dave & Lisa, Paula & John. Very much loved grandad of Jessica, Courtney, Brittney & Te, Emma & Luke,Hannah & Brittney, Joshua & Tiffany and Jayden. A private celebration of John's life has been held, just as he would have liked.

Merle and family, we are devasted to read about the passing of John. He was a good bugger as they say. He will be missed dearly by you all. Ironically we lost Dad also 4 days earlier so guess they are up there catching up over a beer or two. Thinking of you all. Leonie & Tom Figure (Zimmerman).
