Passed away peacefully at Summerset Down The Lane after a short battle with cancer on Tuesday 29th June 2021, aged 74 years. A dearly missed friend to many. A farewell for John will be held at Woolertons Funeral Home Chapel, 8 Railside Place, Dinsdale, Hamilton, on Monday 5th July 2021 at 11.00am.

Dearest John, at the time of your passing a huge storm tore through Wellington - thunder, lightening, hail - I think that was you arriving at the pearly gates on your ride on mower and giving St Peter one heck of a fright! We've been blessed to have had you in our lives all these years, and you live on forever in our hearts. We miss you John. Love always, Bruce and Sandra Burt
