John JEFFCOTE Obituary
Passed away peacefully at home on 27 February 2023. Dearly loved husband of Ally, father and father-in-law of Robbie and Kerri, Jo and Andy, Nikki and Ephraim, and grandad of Riley, Millan, Devyn, Mackenzie, Jackson, and Kiara. A celebration for Johnny will be held at Hamilton Park Crematorium, Newstead, Hamilton, on Monday 6 March at 11.00am.

I was so sad to hear of this from Mary last week. I have such fond memories of my visit in 1989 to New Zealand and the warm welcome he and the rest of the family gave me as I backpacked around the country. I will search my old albums to see if I have a good photograph which captures the energy of those times, and especially the trip to harvest eels. My deepest condolences to all the family.
