Hello Ruth, all the Supersoakers ( The 'Old Soaks' ) were shocked to hear of Big John ( as we called him ) 's passing . As you know he was a keen and very regular and jovial part of our group both in the ponds at The Lost Spring and at our regular brunches. At our recent brunch we remembered him and raised a glass to celebrate his long life. He will be sadly missed by us all and our deepest thoughts and sympathy go out to you and your family at this time. Gerry & Felicity Sanders

The loss of John is so sad. He was a lovely guy - full of fun, loyal and a great friend ( as Cliff would have said great mate )
Loads of fun memories are so special and I have lots of those and we will continue to share them Ruth.
