John Davidson:
On December 10, 2019, peacefully at Taumarunui Hospital, aged 82 years. Beloved husband and soulmate of Vel. Treasured father, father-in-law and Poppa John of Glen and Deb, Sandie and Stu, Brett and Chelsea and their families. A Celebration and Memories of John's life will be held at Christ Church (Anglican), Manuaute Street, Taumarunui, on Wednesday 18th December, at 12.00 Noon, followed by a private cremation. John's family wish to acknowledge the wonderful staff at the Taumarunui Hospital for their care and compassion during John's final days. Communications to 16 Manson Street, Taumarunui.

Had planned to visit and found that John had passed away. Real nice guy always remember the house on the

i met john and vel 7 years ago when i went with my partner to chop some trees in their garden. i instantly felt a warmth and kindness from them. over those years i have enjoyed our chats and cups of tea on the deck. john gave a gentle and peaceful presence and the world will be less without him.

I have good memories of John as we went through Primary School together, and I valued his friendship. I last saw him at Rob Dowle's funeral.
I regret I can't make his funeral, but will be thinking of you.
