Sending condolences. John's laugh was infectious and such a sweet man. He was one of the great friends that worked with my Dad at the mill for all those years. Love to the family.

Renee, Michael and AJ, we are so sorry for your loss. John was a good friend. We will miss his humour, his laugh and his impromptu drop ins. He loved spur of the moment dinners along with home made wine and lemoncello. He loved raiding the tomato patch and lunch with friends made his day. John was a warm and generous man, devoted and proud of his family, and loyal to his friends! We are fortunate to have had his friendship.

We are so saddened to hear about the passing of John. Rene, Michael, AJ and family we send you all our condolences, prayers and love at this extremely difficult time. Our hearts are with you all.
I have so many memories of learning to play chess with John at a young age. And even during the 2017 fires both John and Rene opened their home to us for 3 weeks while we were evacuated. Your entire family as always was so kind and thoughtful. Jordan and Oliver still talk about learning to play Mexican Train with John and Rene. Such wonderful memories. I will miss him dearly... may you rest in peace.

John and I were close friends for over 50 years ..he was the my best friend more like a brother .I will miss him everyday I am Happy that he does not have to suffer anymore and he can rest in peace .God Bless the Family .

I have such fond memories of our trip across Canada and eventually ending in Prince George in 1967.We kept in touch at times for 55 years. My thoughts and condolences to Johns wife and family. He will forever be in our minds.

Sad to hear of John´s passing. I was honoured to have him as a workmate and friend during our years in Prince George. He was a "one of a kind" character and it always fun to share time with him, whether in the mill or out fishing.
