Passed away peacefully on the 31st May, 2024, aged 90, surrounded by family. Dearly loved husband of Barbara for 68 wonderful years. Cherished father and father-in-law of Penny and Paul, Craig and Ginny, Dean and Nikki. Beloved grandfather of Renae and Morgan, Gemma, Ashlee and Scott, Josh and Nick and a special great-grandfather. So sorry to learn of the passing of Barry. Barry and I worked alongside of each other at the Taupo County Council from 1980 to 1988. I looked upon Barry as my mentor and we became very good friends and colleagues. RIP Barry.
