Hello 'Cussies'. I am so sorry to hear of mum's passing and have only caught up with the news today, having been walking around Lake Waikaremoana and not having any contact. I am very sorry to have missed the opportunity to attend the funeral and see each of you in person. Our mum passed away 6 years ago now, so we certainly know the pain of losing one's mother, so hope you are doing OK and leaning on each other for support. Much love to you all. Our darling Joan now at peace, sailing with her angels and home with her beloved John. Thanks for the love, the friendship, the compassion our dear old friend. We had many happy fun filled times and you are sadly missed by us, your neighbours, the golf girls, your senior citizen mates, your fellow card players, bowling buddies, your yachtie mates and other friends. Above all your unconditional love for your family was always foremost. You leave us with lasting memories love Jenny and John Whitianga xxx

I was sorry to read of your mother's death in the NZ Herald. I am sorry I could not get to the funeral but I am doing something when it is on. I only met her a couple of times with John when I first started doing the Wylde family history which I continue to do. Your whole family was so welcoming and helpful, thank you all. Fondest regards, Ana Squire
