Joan SNOOK Obituary
Joan Maria (nee Hassan):
Joan passed away on Friday 23rd December 2016 after a long illness at Hilda Ross Hospital in Hamilton. Aged 90 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Raymond James (Jim). Loved Mother and Mother-in-Law of Mary, Joseph, Andrew and Diane, Elizabeth Bernard and Susan and the late Michael. Loving grandma of Brendon and Janica, Teresa and Phil, Greg and Reena, John and Jes and Great-grandma of Dylan and Max. Rosary will be recited at 7.00pm on Thursday 29th December in the Cathedral of The Blessed Virgin Mary, Grey Street, Hamilton. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in the same church on Friday 30th December 2016 at 12.05 followed by burial in the Hamilton Park Cemetery. A special thank you to staff of the OPR2 and Ward 16 at the Waikato Hospital and also to Hilda Ross Retirement Village for their love and care of Joan. Tributes to Joan may be left at

Mrs Snook, I so enjoyed my visits to the hospital to see you, you always gave me that big welcoming smile and knew who I was straight away even the last time I saw you up there when you weren't well at all. Thank you for all your love and friendship over the past 45 years and welcoming me as part of your family. You are now at peace with your beloved "Jim" but you will be greatly missed by all.
