Joan JACKSON Obituary
Passed away peacefully surrounded by family, on 4th August, 2023; aged 85. Beloved wife of the late Brian (Jacko). Loved sister of Frank Burridge (deceased), and Lesley Redmond (England). Loved mother of Phillip and Leanne, Mark and Charlotte. Much loved Nana of Steven, Nathan, and Kim, and 6 great-grandchildren. Honouring Joan's wishes, a private cremation has taken place. A Memorial service to celebrate Joan's life will be held in the Main Hall at Richmond Villas, 82 Richmond Street, Thames today (Friday) 11th August at 11am.

My condolences to the Jackson family as Joan has passed. Her and Jacko were important to me as a young man. I always made the effort to visit whenever I was in New Zealand. It is sad that the last time I saw Jacko, was also the last time I saw Joan.
I am glad in 2020 I was able to say thank you for all they did for me as a young man. I suspected it would be the last time I saw them. They were a great role model of what family should be. I am glad Joan is now with Jacko.
May she rest in peace.
