HAWES, Joan Crawford:
Passed away peacefully at Eventhorpe Resthome on 23 May 2017. Adored wife of recently deceased Jim. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Mark, Michael and Angela, Anthony and Jenny; and Kathryn and Kelvin Hogg.
Beloved Nana to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A service for Joan will be held at St Francis Co-operating Church, Morrinsville Road, Hillcrest, Hamilton on Saturday, 27 May 2017, at 1.00pm, followed by a private cremation.

I was so sorry to read about Joan. She was a significant member of the March 1954 Waikato Hospital School of Nursing class, as they all were.
My sincere condolences to Mark, Michael, Anthony and Kathryn.
