Joan Shirley (nee North):
Born 24 October 1933, passed away 6 December 2020, at Aparangi Care Centre, Te Kauwhata, aged 87 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Robert. Our beloved Mum will be missed by Sue and Trevor Weaver, Carolyn and the late Douglas Brown, Robyn and Lance Kerr. Much loved by her grandchildren and their partners, Kiryn and Dave, Briar and Shelley; Robert and Joanna, Melissa and Chris, Josh and Hayley; Hayley and Jarrod, Ashleigh and Steven. Adored GG of her 13 great-grandchildren, Zander, Quinn, Paxton; Lachlan, Blair, Chloe, Jack, Bella, Rosie, Blake and Kate; Grace and Oliver. A special note of thanks to the wonderful caring Staff at Aparangi Care Centre and Jenny Bell from Hospice. A Celebration of Joan's life will be held at the St Margaret's Anglican Church, Waerenga Road, Te Kauwhata, on Friday 11 December at 1.00pm, to be followed by a private cremation.
