Age 75
Dearly loved wife of Brian for 53 years. Much loved mum of Peter and Tania, Dan and Yuko, Stu and Elizabeth. Cherished Nana of Ashton and Isla, Joshua, Sasha and Lexi. Jill passed with her beloved husband by her side. Rest in peace now, without pain, dearest Jill. Heartfelt thanks to the team at Hamilton Hospice. A service to celebrate Jill's life will be held on Wednesday, 26th February, at 1.00pm at the Tahuna Hall, Tahuna-Ohinewai Road, Tahuna, followed by refreshments at the Tahuna Golf Club. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hamilton Hospice would be greatly appreciated. All communications to Seddon Park Funeral Home Ltd, PO Box 5523, Frankton, Hamilton 3242.

It was the mid-1990s when I, a 17-year-old from Malaysia, embarked on a Lions Youth Exchange program. Far from home for the first time, I was blessed to be hosted by the Reeds. Jill took me in like a son, ensuring I was cared for and had a wonderful time on their farm. It's been 30 years since, but she always stayed in touch, constantly checking in on how we were doing. She even went the extra mile to visit us in 2023.
Jill was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a true friend. She made the world a better place. Rest in peace, dear Jill. You will be deeply missed. Heartfelt condolences to Brian, Peter, Dan, Stuart, and family.
