Jessica really was sunshine in human form (fitting that I remember her favourite colour was orange/yellow). Jess had a great sense of humour and provided me with so many laughs in my early years of high school...my favourite being when we found a mouse in our cabin in Year 9 and both decided to relocate for the night. I am so incredibly sorry to Kim, family and Briar that Jess was taken from you far too soon. You are all in my thoughts.

To Briar and Jess´s wider family - please accept my deepest sympathies. I´m so sorry to hear that Jess has passed. It must be so difficult to accept the loss of one so young, and with so much potential. I supervised Jess´s chemical engineering design team during my first year at UC in 2015, and taught her about energy processing, and pollution control in 2016. I found a reference that I wrote for her to help her land her first job. I complimented her on her honour´s research project, and note that I would have been happy to hire her into my research group. I´m so sorry for your loss.

Dear Jessi,
you were born in Austria and I held you in my arms full of love and happiness because your dad Andy, my sister Simone and I lost our mother the year before.
You were seven months old when your parents Kim and Andy went back to New Zealand. Letters and pictures let us take part of your life.
In summer 2016 you came back to Austria with Max and Andy. First you wanted to make an internship but luckily it didn´t work out. Therefore you had a lot of time to spend with your big austrian family. I´m so thankful for this time, I got to know you as a lovely, fun and loving girl.
Lots of love,
your aunt Tanja with family

I can't imagine a more devastating loss. My heart goes out to Kim and her whole family. I wish there were some words which could take some of the pain away. I found this photo of Jessica on a swing in Tauranga in late '94 or maybe early '95. Such a gorgeous wee girl. Forever in your hearts, your precious girl. Sending love xxx

The kindest soul and one that found her true soulmate. An inspiration in so many ways and one of the best flatmates to have. Words can`t capture, you`ll be missed!

The first time I held Jessica in my arms, was when she was only one day old. The second time was in 2001 when I got to visit her. We had such a great time. The third time she came to visit us in 2016. We texted often and I am grateful to still have talked to her on the phone. Forever united in love.

I remember working with Briar and her telling me about their life plans together, so full of life, joy, and promise. Her whole face lit up when she spoke about her. I can only imagine what a tremendous love it was for them both. I´m so deeply sorry their time was so tragically short.

MOSER, Jess:
Valued team member and friend of all at BTW Company, tragically taken from us far too soon. Our thoughts are with Jess's wife Briar, her brother Jacob (who is also part of the BTW Waikato team) and their families. Jess was a very popular and talented Engineer. She never held back from participating in social events and contributing to the spirit of our company.
Jess will be greatly
missed at BTW.
Moe mai ra Jess.
