Jean FLEMING Obituary

Peacefully at Te Kuiti Hospital, on Saturday, 26th April 2025. Daughter of John and Margaret, sister of Stanley and Sam (dec). Much loved Aunty of Tracy; Colleen and Geoff. Great-Aunty of Michael and Rachel; Paul; Katherine; Brandon and Jess; Lachlan and Lauren; Andrew and Tilly. Great-great-Aunty of Kendyl, Devon, Penelope and Lexi. A service for Jean will be held at VJ Williams & Sons Chapel, King Street West, Te Kuiti on Monday, 5th May at 11.00am, followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St John's Otorohanga. The Fleming family would like to thank staff of Te Kuiti Hospital for their amazing care. We met Jean on the 12th. February for a very pleasant lunch at her home. We shared family experiences and history, photographs from N. Ireland. It was an honor to meet this lovely lady.

I am so sorry to miss Jean's send off.
I first met Jean at a party at Henry and Daphne Rawlings back in the early '60's.
Jean was lovely, painfully shy my yet very capable.
The Rawlings family have had a very long association with the Fleming family, the parents being great friends.
Jean was always a smiling, generous, intelligent and gifted person.
So sorry she has passed - but how well she lived!
I admired her.
