Janine MELIS Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Janine (Adriana) Melis on Saturday 22nd April 2023 in a car accident. She was a beautiful soul, kind, generous, adventurous, intelligent and always willing to give anything a go or give anyone a hand. Janine was passionate about the environment so in lieu of flowers, it would mean the world to us if you could do something good in memory of her; clean up some trash, plant a tree, reduce your plastic use in some way. I have just heard today (6.10.23), of Janines accident and passing, back in April. I am shocked and saddened to hear this. We enjoyed Company back in Te Miro, about 25 + years ago. I helped her with her housework, and then she helped me with my garden. They were nice times. So very sorry for your children Janine, and the rest of your family. With kind regards, Annette

We were so shocked and saddened to have only just heard of Janine´s passing. Our love goes to all the family, Janine´s beautiful kids and of course dear Mike who found his soul partner - with a bit of help. We love you all.

My thoughts are with the whole Melis family in the loss of an amazingly beautiful soul. I had the pleasure of working with Janine during my time at LIC. She was always there to share a kind word or guide you if you needed her. She will be sorely missed by all I am sure.

Janine was a fantastic work colleague when I worked for LIC. She would never hesitate to help me in anyway she could. An awesome lady taken far too soon, My heartfelt sympathies go to her family and close work colleagues.
