James TWOHILL Obituary

Passed away peacefully at home on Thursday 13th July 2023, aged 83 years. Dearest husband of Jenny. Most loved father and father-in-law of Jo & Bryce & the late Rosie & Nick (New York). Proud pop of Alexander, Phoebe & Oliver. A tower of strength A celebration of Jim's life will be held at Woolertons Funeral Home Chapel, 8 Railside Place, Dinsdale, Hamilton, on Wednesday 19th July at 11.00am. Our deepest sympathy to Jim's family. My Father and Jim's Mother were first cousins and were brought up together at the Melbourne Hotel, Westport, by my Great Grandmother and Grandmother. I remember meeting Jim when I was 17 years - Jim would have been 18 - and he was having a holiday in Westport and staying at Carter's Beach with my Grandmother. Many years later I met up with him again when he and a colleague from the BNZ in Christchurch, visited Kaikoura for a visit. I was living there with my husband and family.
