Passed away tragically on 24 May 2024, aged 61 years. Loved brother of John, David and Angela. Brother-in-law of Kristin, Ingrid and Nick. Cherished uncle of Sophie, Alice, the late Charles, Phoebe, Astrid, Mirabelle, and Rhodes. A private cremation has been held. An information afternoon will be held on Thursday 6 June at Alexandra House Chapel, 570 Alexandra St, Te Awamutu, at 2.00pm. All communications to the Parlane family, c/- PO Box 137, Te Awamutu.

My dear friend Jim, what can I say , you made me laugh, you were uniquely you and we wouldn't want it any other way. You always made the shifts at Caltex interesting and funny and you were always there to help with anything. You served your community well and spoke your mind. I'll miss you and have such great memories. Sending condolences to your beloved family x

I am just sending condolences from all our family as unfortunately we cannot attend the service tomorrow.
My family have happy memories of growing up and spending time at the orchard. What a tragic way for a life to be ended.
