I remember Ken as far back as circa 1950 when we both attended Springburn Primary School in Gourlay Street, Springburn, Glasgow. Ken was a wonderful footballer and i remember our teacher Mr Yeudall saying that one day "Ken would play football for Scotland". Kens dad worked in Cowlairs Railway Workshops, also in Springburn. I remember when Ken and his family emigrated from Gourlay Street, Springburn, to New Zealand. I think it was circa 1953 or thereabouts. The next i heard of Ken was seeing a foto of him as part of the New Zealand international football team in the World Football Magazine about 1967.Rest in piece Ken. You are not forgotten.
