Loving father, husband, Poppa and great-grandfather to Mark Arlene, Elle, Hone & Addie, Aly & Brent, Jarrod, Chelsea & Aaron Emily & James. Sue & Aaron (deceased) Vanessa & Alan, Liam & Teah & Dean. Partner to Jen & her family Maree, Willow Paul & Nicky.
Now sadly I leave you, and travel alone,
Through the mystic veil to the great unknown.
With such beautiful memories that will forever be,
The way that I hope you'll remember me.

Many years ago, a Rest Home in Hamilton gad refrigeration problems. The call went out to their serviceman Jack Farrer who owned Doug Robinson Ltd. On duty that day and in charge of dining and kitchen duties was Sue Carey. That day a flame was kindled between the two. That fridge got attention far more than was needed but to Jack it was a means to an end. It ended in a courtship and then marriage and a long wonderful happy life together. RIP Jack and Sue. Reunited now in eternity.
