Ivy JONES Obituary

JONES, Ivy (nee Esler). - Passed away peacefully at Avonlea Rest Home, Taumarunui, on 11th April 2014, aged 96. Dearly loved wife of the late Horatio (Horey) Jones. Treasured mother and mother-in-law of Charles and Judith (Whitianga), Lorraine and the late Brian Edwards (Taumarunui), Tony (deceased), and Barbara Jones (Te Aroha). Much loved Nan of 13, Great Nan of 35, Great Great Nan of seven. She was a women of many talents.
Her gentle generous nature, her vitality and her unflagging optimism
won the hearts of all who knew her. Her devotion to and unconditional
love for her family and friends will live with us forever.
She is now at peace with her beloved Horey.
- A Service for Ivy will be held in St Pauls Co-Operating Parish Church, Marae Street, Taumarunui, on Wednesday, 16th April, at 2.00pm, followed by interment at the Taumarunui Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Avonlea Home would be appreciated and may be left at the Church or forwarded to P. O. Box 97, Taumarunui 3946.
