Iris PORTER Obituary

To dear Iris you were such a wonderful treasure to work with at Tokoroa Women's Refuge for all those years. The work you did was so very much valued and you were such a tremendous asset in the way you set up the creche for the children - your specialist area and how wonderful it was to see the children engaged with activities you had set up and lovely to see you working alongside them with your lovely manner Iris - gosh not only did you provide your time and support to the children but also to the women who accessed services of refuge - you also made close friends within collective of women who ran the refuge my self included - I also want to pass on my kind regards to your family also - Iris was a real treasure and the work she did helped both the children and their mums during a difficult time for them, lots of love from Joy Imelda - see you again Iris xx
