Ian PATERSON Obituary

Ian, in 1968, welcomed this shy, young Pom to Old Boys. I will forever be grateful to him for the way he helped me fit in to my new life in NZ. RIP Ian.

It has been a long time since I last met up with Ian. I remember Ian as a good friend , a great person, with a great sense of humour, a great Rugby player and coach of the Leamington Senior Rugby team.
My Condolences to Brenda and the family. He will certainly be missed.

Ian, you were one of the true greats. Always generous with your time, a good yarn at the ready, and a smile that lit up the room. You will be deeply missed by so many, but especially by the rowing community you gave so much to. Thank you and rest easy now.

A mighty oak from Hamilton Old Boys, has fallen. He was a great bloke who was dedicated to the club and his sports. Rest easy my friend. Murray Meinung
