Ian HOWIE Obituary

No longer in pain, passed away 7 August 2023 after a battle with cancer. Much loved husband of Sue (they almost made 50 years!), loved father of Lisa, Glen and Shawn, loved father-in-law of Sean, Amy and Michelle, loved Pop of Charlotte, Sammy (dec), Beren and Willis. A Celebration of Ian's life will be held at Ngaruawahia RSA on 23 September at 1:00 pm.

To Sue, and the Howie Whanau - Please accept our heartfelt condolences at this time. We were very sad to hear of Ian's passing, and I am most grateful that I had the opportunity to catch up (albeit briefly) with you both in Linton back in February. We recall our time in HopuHopu fondly, especially our interactions with professionals like Ian. Unfortunately we will not be able to attend the celebration in September, but will be thinking of you all at that time. Our best to you. Richard, and Glenice Paine
