Ian HENDERSON Obituary

Passed away peacefully at Waikato Hospital after a short illness on Thursday, 2nd April 2026, aged 76 years. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Suzanne; Murray and Kim; Vicki and Philip; and the late Brett and Jacob. Much loved grandad of Leigh, Maddison, Caleb, Harper and Aleeah, and great-grandad of two. Special thanks to the staff of Cambridge Oakdale for their wonderful care over the past few years, and to the staff of Ward A2, Waikato Hospital, for their compassion in his final days. Your care went above and beyond. Those wishing to pay their respects to Ian are welcome to do so at Grinter's Funeral Home, 3 Hallys Lane, Cambridge, on Tuesday, 7th April 2026, between 1.00pm and 3.00pm. A private family farewell will follow, followed by private cremation.
