Ian BOGIE

Ian BOGIE Obituary

Aged 66, died while out walking on 21 September 2023. Loved father of Louise (Phillipines), son of Marion and David, brother to Don, brother in law to Peg. Ian had led an interesting life as a geothermal geologist working all around the world. A private family service has been held. Our thanks to Kimihia Home for looking after Ian in his last months.

Just found out about this, one year or so later. We were friends through from Kimihia School, Huntly College and then Otago Uni, then lost touch. V sad to hear about Ian´s passing. Good memories, such as blasting Huntly West with Led Zeppelin from the Bogie house on the hill in River Rd, and much recreational beer drinking...
