Hoki WILLIAMS Obituary

Born 26 October, 1948. Passed away peacefully, aged 77, on 13 April, 2026. Hoki was the treasured son of the late Hemi Williams and Exinnia Te Aue Martin, and the devoted husband of the late Gracie Williams (née Robinson). Loved father to Tony (Anthony), Dalley and Leanne, and a loving father-in-law to Marie Riddle and Sokgill Kim. Hoki adored his moko Hoki (Junior), Charlotte and Isabelle; Amelia, Ally and Angela; and their children Ayesha, Caprice, Jarel, Skylah, Kylah-Rose, Nikau, Moses and Manaia-James. Hoki was a cherished brother to the late Scottie, Albert and Noel, and a beloved brother to Caryn, Taha and Thomas. Tangihanga Details: Hoki will be lying in state at Waiti Marae, Waiti Road, Tahuna. A service to honour Hoki's life will be held at 11am on Thursday, 16th April 2026, at Waiti Marae, followed by kai hākari. Following the service and kai, Hoki will be taken via Morrinsville to Newstead Cemetery, Morrinsville Road, Newstead, with an estimated arrival time of 3pm.
A life lived with kindness and held in deep love, his gentle presence and generous heart forever remembered by his whānau and friends.
