Born 5 December 1932 in Haarlem, Holland died on 18 May 2025 in Rotorua, aged 92 years. Much loved mother of Pamela (dec), Paul and Karen (Sydney) and Sandra and Andrew (Lake Rotomā). Oma of Jacob and Lucy (Sydney). Former wife of the late Jacobus (Jack). A service will be held at South Waikato Funeral Services, Commerce Street, Tokoroa on Thursday 22 May at 1.00pm. All communications to van Egmond family c/- 1358 Eruera Street, Rotorua 3010.

Searching the internet, we read this message. Our condolences to Paul and Sandra with the loss of your mother. We know her as 'tante Miep', who we met in 1974 as she came to Holland to visit her family. We remember her as a strong personality. Rob en Hans van der Horst.

Condolences to the Family. Sad to hear of her passing. I remember Meip from when she and Jack were our Neighbours at the Dairy Factory at KatiKati in 1954, and then again in Tokoroa. She used to come over and crank the car for our Mum so she could get us all to Church. Fond memories from Bruce Stables.
