Henry BAKER Obituary

On behalf of the residents of Sovereign Isle Lifestyle Village I extend my condolences to Sylvia and family on Carl's passing.

Dear Sylvia .. Josette and I are very sad hearing of Carl's passing ..we enjoyed seeing you both intermittently over the years .. there was always a laugh amongst the chat ..one such laugh I'll never forget is when a gentleman with a checked cap on, tilted over his face, came to our door collecting for the Sallie Army ... I rather grudgingly closed the door on him explaining I will go see if we had any cash available (it was still the 1980's !!) .. I came back with a $10 note .. and then woke up to who I was giving to ... or rather he felt he needed to reveal himself as the acting was too good ))) ...NOT the Sallies .. that was a great laugh ... sending hugs to you Sylvia and family .. memories are so precious and each loss of extended family members leaves an irreplaceable gap xxx

To Baker family especially Grant, thinking of you all at this difficult time. Remember him with brother Arnold at Newstead, Frankton stock sales, always bright and pleased to see us.

To Carl's family, my condolences and thoughts are with you. I remember how much he enjoyed his bowls and our chats.
