Helen WATKINS Obituary

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, 11th July 2024, at Matamata Country Lodge, aged 98 years. Much loved wife of the late Keith. Loved mother of Jim and Marie, Bruce and Jan, Margaret and Harry, Ian and Neil. Treasured Nana Helen to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Many thanks to the staff at Country Lodge for their loving care of Helen. A service to celebrate Helen's life will be held in the Tirau Community Church, Main Road, Tirau, Saturday, 20th July at 11.00am. All communications to the Watkins family c/- 6 Tamihana St, Matamata.

Our condolences to the Watkins family, I am a grandson of George and Georgie Whyte nee Stewart
We were unable to come to the service but would love to meet and if possible see where Andrew and Jessie lived at Tirau
We often Drive by and it would be great to know where the house was that burned down and claimed the life of Andrew
My mother, Mary Powell Nee Whyte died at 59 years old so we did not know our more distant family
If possible could you let me know your address and phone number so we could visit?
