Died peacefully on 10 April 2024 at Awatere Care Suites. Loved wife of the late David Petchey. Loved mother of Katrina, Peter, John-Paul and Sarah. Beloved granny and great-granny, and a great friend to many. Celebration of her life will be held at 10.00am on Monday 15 April at Zenders, 44 Hopkins Road (off Ruakura Road), Newstead, Hamilton. I just learned of Helen´s passing. We were Div student wives initially and friends forever. I have lived in the US since 1969. We visited each other over the years. I loved her dearly

Dearly loved older sister of Christine. We shared many happy memories growing up in both Rarotonga (where our father was a Missionary) and in Auckland where we were both educated. Helen was an excellent teacher and very musical- sadly missed by myself and my husband Dal and our children Emma and Karl. xxxxxxx
