Hector DAVIDSON Obituary
Passed away peacefully at Te Awa Lifecare, Cambridge. Aged 94 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Ngaire and the late Ruby. Loved father and father-in-law of Shona & Elsdon Meddings, Robyn & Ken Hembry, Murray & Annette Davidson, and step-father and father-in-law to Pam Dobbs, Jan Rapana and Cyril, and the late Ray & Aureen Sheild. Adored Poppa Hec to all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Due to the current Covid-19 Restrictions a private family service will now be held for Hec. All communications to The Davidson Family, c/- 262 Ohaupo Road, Te Awamutu 3800.

Poppa, at 5 years old I thought it was so strange that you grilled bacon so long that it would stand up like a stick..... Now at 41 years old I find myself telling my own children "its the only way to eat bacon boys". You were loved by all Pop and you will be missed.
Love to you all tomorrow... we are very sad and sorry we cannot be there.

Hec. It has been a privilege to have known you. I have missed the Friday night beers and chips at the workshop, and I could do with some more of your odds and ends to solder and repair for you. I am getting a bit rusty and need more things to practise on. Your old friend and workmate Gordy.

Hec, l will never forget your cheeky humour. You were loved by all who knew you and one in a million to get away with your 'naughty' antics. How many others had their own carpark at the Club?
I know you will be sorely missed by all who knew you. You can now go and keep the laughter going with dad and all your other mates.
